Job description

A well established and exciting Irish Technology organisation is currently seeking a Level 3 VMware Engineer for a permanent position in Dublin city centre.

If you are looking for a role where you will be challenged on a daily basis and continuously learn within a great team and excellent work culture then this is the job for you.

What you will need:

  • VCP Certified with 5+ years experience with VMware and associated product range
  • 4+ years experience of Data Storage and Management FC and iSCSI SAN implementation experience required, design experience highly desirable
  • 3+ years of Veeam and or other Back Up Solutions experience
  • Strong technical design ability and expertise in the implementation and configuration of Virtual physical infrastructure solutions essential.
  • Experience of capacity planning and sizing methodologies for server consolidation and virtualisation projects required
  • Design and Implementation of High Availability Solutions required.
  • Excellent communication skills proven customer support focus, ideally from reseller background
  • Will be able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Cloud management tools experience highly desirable
  • ITIL Foundation Certified highly desirable
  • Security experience desirable.
  • Linux experience desirable
